Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Sorted!

Got the travel insurance organised. I’d filled in a form on a random site (the costs are all about the same) and then I’d gone out with Archie. A polite young man rang to see if he could assist. Yes. And the yearly insurance was cheaper than the single cruise insurance. All good.

I watched a bit of tennis while the others went out for a walk. Then we walked down to pop in to Christine. Funny old Archie was quite reluctant to go in - but the two dogs there to welcome him didn’t go crazy barking. In fact, he picked up one of Dougal’s bison horns, and was given it to take home. Dougal has about 24 of them.

We then walked round the block and were delighted to see that the new ice cream shop was having a trial go. A friend insisted on taking a photo of us all (you can see him in the window reflection).

Do not want to see yet another election debate, so we’re going to continue watching ‘Douglas is Cancelled’ which we’re quite enjoying on STV.
