Oh I do like to be...

...beside the seaside.

It took us a bit longer to drive to Newquay today, it's Friday instead of Sunday, and there were quite a few holiday-makers on the road, but still less than 5 hours. There was a stiff cool breeze along the beach but the sun was intense and it was lovely in sheltered spots (like the harbour where we enjoyed a drink, watching the fishermen getting their boats ready for the next trip).  There were lots of people out surfing and the RNLI lifeguards and the seagulls were on patrol.
