St Ives

We drove to St Ives for a private view at the New Craftsman Gallery, which has been representing contemporary artists and craftsmen for decades (and fell for a lovely bowl by Japanese ceramicist Akiko Hirai). To make the journey down the busy A30 even more worthwhile we had a late lunch in our favourite restaurant, the Porthminster Beach Cafe. The image is a glimpse of Porthminster Beach where it was cloudy but really warm with lots of families on the beach and in the sea.
