Torshavn

Thor’s Harbour, the capital of the Faroes.. The population of the Faroes have increased 10 fold over that last century (to about 50,000) and half of them live in the capital, so it’s a lively place with a tiny ancient centre. We were taken on walking tours with local guides, then to the island brewery for lunch. I then joined a group with the ship’s photographer to pick up ideas on good travel photography. After dinner some local musicians will entertain us.
