Sunshine through my window

I got some white silk flowers a long time ago in London. Maybe 40 years. Since then I’ve been adding funny little bits and bobs to the vase, like Christmassy twigs sprayed silver. It caught my eye as the sun fell on it this morning.
I spent much of the day gardening, with a teeny bit of cleaning thrown in.
I listened to an investigative podcast (which I really shouldn’t have done) about international people smugglers, and then I worried about Trump, Farage, AfD, National Rally, Putin, Orban, Meloni, Xi, Kim and the rest. It wasn’t a good idea.
