A hot sunny day
I think it was the hottest day in this current warm spell. A bit much for me, over 80f. At the weekend my son was laughing at me for the number of pots I have on the paving stones in the garden. And we actually counted them, total 54:) plus eight in the front. So it takes quite a while to do the watering. Perhaps I should have fewer - but I’m not going to get rid of a healthy plant, and then I do get tempted every year to buy a few more. And there is still a little bit of space for me to sit outside.
A busy afternoon at Oxfam, there’s a lot of change at present. The deputy manager left last week, the temporary manager left today. Also a lovely Spanish volunteer left today to head back home after 6 months in Bristol learning English. So it’s a bit weird. Between ourselves I don’t think Oxfam has very good HR or care for its employees:( Still, we keep going because the fundraising is important.
