Looking up
I’m sitting on the ground at my allotment, weeding. Goodness me those weeds really grew a lot while I was away in Ireland, I’m still battling with them. Unfortunately I do have bindweed on my plot, I’ve never been able to completely eradicate it.
I’m looking up through the crocosmia Lucifer which I transplanted from my garden two years ago. I need to bring a couple of lunch boxes tomorrow as the blackcurrants are ready to pick. Looks to be quite a lot this year, though the birds get a large percentage. That’s ok. As long as I get enough for a big batch of blackcurrant ice cream, which is one of the best things life has to offer:)
Also dug up some potatoes, nice little red ones, will be good for salad. As usual, a real pleasure simply to be here in this lovely place.
