FLOWER FRIDAY - COMPASSION ROSE

This will be another short and sweet entry as I am still trying to keep off my phone and computer.  I didn’t have a good night’s sleep, despite going to bed early and my eye has been throbbing a lot this morning, although it's not quite as red, but I still feel it would be better not to do much on any screens!

I went out into the garden and took a shot of our beautiful Compassion Rose - given to us by our dear friends, Pete and Angie, on the occasion of our baptism in 2001.  It has bloomed well every year since, so it is a lovely reminder of that day and our friends too.
