HOW SILLY - TRYING TO BLOW BUBBLES IN THE WIND!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We thought it we would go and sit in the shady corner of the HCB’s garden and as it was a bit windy, we thought it might be a good idea to play with some bubbles, so Mr. HCB was “press-ganged” into doing the blowing of the bubbles whilst Mrs. HCB took the photographs.  We have to say it was a bit of a disaster!

The wind was so strong that every time Mr. HCB blew the bubbles, they just vanished quickly or didn’t even appear - how silly is that?  We think that Admirer would have laughed if she could have seen Mr. HCB, blowing for all he was worth - and for nothing to come out of the bubble wand.  He tried from one side and then the other, but neither was very good.

We all waited very patiently and every time Mr. HCB blew a good. Bubble, we shouted “Hooray!”  However, that didn’t happen very often.

You can see in this shot that the wind is blowing the bubbles into funny shapes and then Mr. HCB said “Right, I’ve had enough - I’m not blowing any more bubbles!”  We all laughed and said that he probably would if he was a West Ham Supporter - which upset him a bit, because he supports Tottenham Hotspurs!

So, we had to abandon the idea of bubbles, and then it started raining a little, so we have all come indoors to have some hot chocolate with marshmallows - which you know we all love.

Mrs. HCB went to see an Italian Cardiologist last night - not in Italy - that would be silly - but at a private hospital near where they live.  He told her that there was nothing wrong with her heart but that her blood pressure was a little higher than he would like, so he has given her some tablets to take to bring it down.  She has to contact the DVLA about driving, so she will do that on Monday.  So good news and hopefully, she will be able to drive soon.  She asked us to thank you all for your kind thoughts and comments and also to apologise for not commenting last night.  After that, the HCBs decided to celebrate so they went to a Thai restaurant - which they enjoyed and it saved Mrs. HCB having to cook when they got home, which was good.

By now you know what we always do at the end - we ask you to BE KIND - it might just make someone’s day and while you are being kind to someone else, we hope that someone will be kind to you!  Have a great weekend.
