London bus lost by Boscombe Pier

S, our friend and his spaniel came by at 9:30. Walked down to the Pier and then via the Lower gardens to Blend in Richmond Hill for coffee.

Then back to his hotel to check-out before catching open top Breezer to Southbourne Overcliff. The 3 of us walked along the cliff-top, and Fishermans Walk to The Grove (High street) and past the shops. Settled on lunch at The Larder House. Great menu with lots of small dishes to suit me.

Had Sopley Asparagus, and Isle of Wight Cherry Tomatoes, and Hispi Cabbage. I couldn't resist their home made bread with olive oil. The men had a New Forest cured meat and a plate of baby beetroot. Everything locally produced/grown and dressed with home made flavoursome dressings.

Back by bus and said our goodbyes. Then continued on to meet 2 couples at The Nici for tea etc.

Beautiful weather. 21C, not as hot as last 2 days. Shattered now, especially as didn't sleep well in last night's heat. So off to bed.
