When you meet a fellow blipper…..

My cousin Freda came on the train from Sunderland today.

We drove to Allendale and stopped in the Forge for coffee and to see the artists’ work.

Look who we met?!

Then on to Allenheads. I stopped at the same place for the pansies as 2 days ago. It was very windy so we did not linger.

Lunch in The Hemel was good, but the grill had broken so there was no Welsh Rarebit on the menu.

We visited the old blacksmith’s shop and heritage museum. Fascinating.

Outside there I spoke to a couple who were looking at a map. The husband recognised me. We worked together years ago when I started my Psychiatry training.
