Sharon Lake Improvement Project

We were going over to Sharonville to pick up our camper for another mini get away, so on the way to the storage facility, we popped in to Sharon Woods to see if there was anything happening yet at Sharon Woods Lake, which has been drained, in order to dredge some of the accumulated silt, and they’re also going to be doing some re-designing. As you can see from my blip, there was some activity today. Although the ground they haven’t touched yet looks dry and cracked, clearly underneath it is still quite wet. There is a creek runs through the lake bed, and I think part of what they were doing, was clearing a channel for that to flow through. The operator of the digger had to know what he was doing so he didn’t get himself bogged down! Once we’d got the camper back, I started putting things in it- we’re only going to be away 3 nights so we don’t need that much - mainly sheets, towels, clothes and food.
