Watch the Birdie

This is a feature on the Ann Summers shop in town. I noticed a touristy looking person photographing it a couple of weeks ago - before that I must have passed it countless times and not seen it. Yesterday's shot, which I'd decided was not at the correct angle to see the bird and grapes, is probably actually better, and shows some initials. I've put it in the Extras!

I wondered if the shop may have been a bank at some point before I lived here due to the lettering. It had been Dorothy Perkins before it became its current incarnation. I can only find information about The Saracen's Head hotel, but all the info about that suggests it was in the neighbouring shop, now Waterstones, and the two next to that - a jewellers and a chocolate shop.
