SONS OF THE DESERT

Garron and I went down to the Prom last night for a walk to stretch our legs, once it was a bit cooler and  mostly in the shade.  However my feet still got way too hot despite having just walking sandals on, so I had to bathe them in cold water.

Today there was cloud cover so we went into Ulverston.  Just for a pootle and a walk around.  Had coffee in Gillams first then did a little bit of shopping.  After that we went over to Manjushri as he loves to go every visit.  The car park was full so we went down into the overflower car park where we could find shelter for the car and were lucky enough to get the last two places.  Two other cars had to turn round and go back!!!!

They have upgraded the cafe area and it's looking pretty good, foods the same though.  Just a home-made soup  and three different types of sandwiches or cakes, all very lovely though.  

We had a little walk  around the ground but I was getting far too hot so we headed back to the car.  I have discovered that the aircon  is not working, despite having had it looked at just a few weeks ago!!!  This meant I arrived home well over heated and feeling pretty awful.  My feel  have swollen up and I had a nasty headache.  Have taken some paracetamol and had a short snooze so  feel a little better now.  Now sat in front of the fan and trying to get cool.  I KNOW, everyone, except me, has been looking forward to some summer - but it makes me feel yuck that I dread it.  I would much rather have nice warm spring days personally.  Aah well that's life as they say - I wish I was one of the lucky ones that enjoy the heat but sadly my system hasn't been made that way!!!

That's all from me for now.  Will reply as soon as I can but I'm still feeling pretty yuck  so will rest up for a bit longer I think.
