Protest

Had a night of broken sleep last night.  Our road seems to be a race track for noisy motorbikes and cars at all hours.  Needless to say this wakes me up.  I've not had much energy today.

Was up at 5am, sleeping in was pointless.  Took hound for a walk in the cool morning.

Headed early to the market and supermarket.

The morning was sunny with an imperceptible light breeze.  From midday it clouded over with brief sunny spells but pretty warm.  Days like this in the city I yearn for the freshness of a sea breeze.

Made a aubergine & red onion kookoo - an Iranian frittata.  It's definitely a salad day.

The blip is the Cambridge University Senate House where graduation ceremonies are usually held.  The group Palestine Action sprayed red paint on the front of the building.  The group accuses the university of 'repeatedly' ignoring requests to talk to students and staff and not taking 'meaningful' action against the 'atrocities' in Gaza. The university has condemned 'this act of vandalism.'

Early night for me with the fan on.

Pleasant evening everyone.
