Inner Farne Lighthouse

Sunshine, Blue sea, flat calm and a beautiful day for shooting puffins but we were about to set off for home.

The lighthouse itself was built by Trinity House in 1811 to help try and avoid the many disasters  off the hazardous Northumberland coast.

Yes I know it's hard to believe but finally after years of pushing and trying we now have it! The screen is now flashing the pages up before my eyes and it's astounding. I love joining the modern world.

No-one will be at all surprised that in the two boat trips over this weekend I've taken well over 8,000 shots. Oo and I've just come back to edit this and done it in seconds! Amazing :)))
