Cruise in Company - to Aberdour

Though somehow the company was lost as we travelled across so we were one of the last to arrive. Either MrT’s helming was suspect or the boat has more weed on its underside than I thought. It didn’t help seeing a container ship coming up the deep water channel. I quickly looked at the clever AIS thingy - time to closest point 8min, closest point of approach 0.2nm. A bit too close, especially given the gusty nature of the day so we tacked away awhile, further delaying our arrival.
But hey, the sun came out Aberdour. And no fewer than seventeen boats had made it across so there was quite a convivial gathering around the ABC barbecue. Derek & Jo who I’d met at Crinan were there (coincidentally) overnighting. Scary moment for S&C who managed to chow one of their lines in their prop just outside the harbour before being swiftly saved by Wayne on his powerboat (yes, OK, they may have their place I grudgingly admit). S borrowed a pair of goggles and managed to dive underwater to remove it once safely tied up.
Right, time to select a boatie photo. Gawd so many to choose and they’re all just the same as the SK would say. Is semi-nudity allowed?
