I did a quick trip to B&Q first thing for some more paint and decorators silicone.   Not sure why really as OH didn't use them today?  However by the time I had got home he had rubbed down the lumps on the wall ready for re-painting next week when the kitchen is finished.  We continue to admire the work tops and think I will be a bit nervous for the first few weeks with chopping mats so the quartz doesn't stain!  We had a trip out to TK Maxx to look for table lamps and saw exactly the right thing at half the price I was looking at online!  Also bought a few bits from The Range so the accessorising is going well before the kitchen is finished.

Home to sit in the garden for a bit then (microwaved) dinner - I don't really like 'ping' meals but needs must.  Oven should be installed next week so back to proper cooking again.

Photo is of the amazing hydrangeas in the front garden - I am going to try to dry some again and hope to have more success this year.
