That's more like it..........

How wonderful to wake up to sunshine and warmth!  It has been a long time coming so we decided to make the most of it and abandon DIY and clearing up and have a day by the coast.   We did manage a quick swim but the water was not as warm as I would like!  Lovely afternoon reading my book and listening to the waves.

Home for another BBQ - had marinated the chicken while we were out and it was tasty - also realising that since being sans cooker - you don't really need potatoes with every meal!  Will be reducing carbs from now on.

Message from No.1 enjoying a lovely day at Elmley and from No.2 working hard to build his studio.  He was worried that he had broken OH's chop saw but it was a false alarm.  I text him not to worry as it was an 'inanimate object' and family was more important......... might have been the wine at lunchtime talking?!?  But if it is broken, can be fixed or replaced but he was a bit worried it had stopped working on his watch?  Probably overheated.
