Aimee's tree
No.2 had made a ceramic plaque for Aimee's tree and we scattered some more of her ashes under the tree. (We moved into our house 32 years ago and a good friend bought us two trees, an oak for Samuel and a Maple for Aimee. Samuel talked about the tree in his moving funeral tribute and it seemed fitting that we place some ashes under the tree). There are lots of saplings growing under the tree and we thought we would pot them up in the Autumn and give them to Aimee's friends and family and anyone who wants Aimee's tree in their garden.
James left around lunchtime as he was attending a bbq at Aimee's friends house and we pottered. I had a trip to M&S to get bbq bits and OH cut the front hedge, Sunday being the only day the lane is quiet ish.
Day done.
Sad weekend and lots of reflection and memories but this morning when I went up to Aimee's tree I could hear her saying to me 'it's fine Mum'.........
Rest in peace my beautiful girl, always loved, forever missed xxxxx
