Nate & Laura

Today is the last day of school before the long almost-three-month holiday begins! Asha is elated and Nate is devastated. We went to the end of year party at Nate's school. They'd put on all sorts of fun activities in the playground, including a photo booth. Also slime making with food colouring, so Nate's had bright blue hands all day! It was a special time, also emotional. Blipped is Nate's teacher, this has been her first teaching post and she's not sure if she'll be placed in this school again in September. She'll find out where in the Balearics next month (seems a crazy system). She was very very tearful when we said bye. She's okayed me using this pic! 
This evening we were at Adrian and Linda's for a garden party. A utterly lovely evening with them and others. 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Great feedback for Asha from her form teacher. 
2) Laura being such a caring and creative teacher. Also grateful we got time with  2 other teachers who are important to him, Silvia & Taniko. 
3) Adrian and Linda's hospitality.
