Prep Day

It's been a full week, so today was all about service prep for church tomorrow. I'm starting our teaching series on the beatitudes, setting the scene and talking on the first one - blessed are the poor in spirit.
We got out for a walk as a family - too hot really, but we needed to not be inside! Asha was delighted to find crabs and hermit crabs in the rock pools!
Later Danny took Nate out again, Asha tidied her room, and I got the screen stuff sorted and more of my talk in better shape.
And then a readathon to end the day together - books, music and good snacks.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Nate loving Asha's old scooter.
2) The kids both being book lovers.
3) Danny helping with insight for my talk.
