The Pensioner

Red Sails on the Forth

Morningtime, after getting tickets for the book festival, I hopped over to the club to film MP doing a guided tour of the workshop. Later, I dusted down iMovie and edited it! Five minutes of your life lost if you watch it. Two hours of mine lost making it.
And then, the SK having finished her actuaries exam meeting, we birrled over to Thornbridge timber at Lochend where I got some wood to make veggie beds. And once sawn (by my good self) into 2.4m lengths, I found they fitted into the car with the tailgate down. That’s a joy.
To the photo - the 2024 National Squib Championships are being hosted by the RFYC and the pontoons have been very busy all week. I thought a photo was in order so walked out the breakwater.
Other tings - we watched a brief programme about Michael Mosley who died unexpectedly last week after going missing on Symi. And goodbye Donald Sutherland. That’s a sad one; what a huge presence he was.
