Grandad is the best

Minky day again, and we were invited along to R&E’s in the morning. While the tiny ones played we heard all about their latest jaunt from Bulgaria to Albania via Macedonia and Kosovo - all on public transport. Makes our lying on the poolside holidays seem very unadventurous. 
Back to play on the beach all afternoon as it was a fine day - it was demanded that I transform her into a bejewelled mermaid. 
And then off, “early doors” as we’d say, to see Scotland vs the Swiss. Lordy lordy - a terrific McTominay goal (which we only realised was deflected in the replay) gave us a one-nil lead which lasted all of 13 minutes until Ralston’s slack back pass gave them an equaliser. But, we held on! We more than held on, even - 1-1 was the final score and we live to fight another day.
