On the way to Malleny

A morning out at Aunt SheShe’s - we walked over to Currie Rugby Club where we were dismayed to find no scones on offer. And then elated when we found they did bacon rolls. A very enjoyable couple of hours - her conversation ranges widely from remembering the American troops coming through the town on the way to the D-Day landings, and the Mulberry Harbours being constructed at Garlieston, to The Nevermets, the awfulness of which she laughs about herself, but can’t stop watching.
Home via B&Q and M&S where I treated myself to new undercrackers. What a price! They better be good is all I can say.
Money is obviously burning a hole in my pockets at the moment (though let’s hope it doesn’t singe the new pants) as I then succumbed to a desire I’ve had for some months and finally bought myself a cordless drill.
And with said drill in my hand I sorted the shonky shelves in the shed. Not an easy thing, well, to say.
