Jackdaws

Dougal, Florence and Sybil say thank you for your birthday wishes as well as the stars and hearts.
 
My husband had an afternoon appointment today at the local hospital, so we went out to lunch at Cafe Cornell beforehand. The appointment went well and he goes back again in five weeks.
 
The Jackdaws are still very much in evidence in the garden in quite large numbers. I shall not fill the feeders until the young have grown and they have all disappeared as they have frightened the small birds away and demolished the bird food. So today’s picture is of just a few of them, including one that photo bombed the picture.
 
The temperature at noon today was twenty-two degrees Celsius.
