Visit the artists- Open Studios

Visiting artists in their studios is always a pleasure. Not only do you get to meet the artist, but you get an insight into their working process.
And this week there are over 30 artists in The Trossachs area opening their studios to the public. (June15-23).
I popped along to Thornhill to see m friend Libby Yule who specialises in big exuberant colourful work.
This is the first year of Open Studios Stirlingshire and all the signs are that it is proving to be very successful, thanks in no small part to the amazing painter and textile designer Katherine Cowtan who stepped up and organised the event at very short notice with help and support from Artlink Central.
