Limone
We caught the ferry across to Limone this morning. It was market day, so we had a wander round there then walked up through the narrow cobbled streets to the old castle which has now been repurposed as a citrus grove and museum with information about the history of citrus growing in the area, including lemons from which the town may get its name.
This is the view from the terraces across the rooftops.
As you can see it was a bit cloudy and, as we got back to the ferry, it absolutely threw it down with rain. By the time we got back to Malcesine it had stopped and half an hour later it was glorious sunshine again.
