Ugly Stuff

Things have not gone well for me today.

Technology has thumbed its nose at me to prove that it is better than me. Maybe that was revenge for me clearing an old laptop, removing and destroying all bits containing memory and reducing the remains to component parts prior to going for 'recycling'.

Bits of wood have refused to comply and one of them left the lathe on several occasions.

The bud vase above is probably the best of a bad lot.....
SWMBO says the Yew box looks more like plug for something.
The burr dish can't make up its mind as to whether it is a map of England or a very knobbly/warty bloke.
As for the world's ugliest dish ...that has only avoided the waste bag (for now) because I like the colours and grain patterns.

On the up side - I got some beer and chocolate from Bags (along with a 2 minute visit) and a call from No1 son ... well, I replied to a missed call from him.
