Coco plage

Not quite sure what this device is for. It appears to be measuring,  and possibly controlling, the level of the lake at Coco Plage, a nature and water pursuits location near where we are staying at Mont-Saint-Jean, a few miles outside of Le Mans. It's a very attractive spot named after the affectionate term that its original developer was known as by his mother. So, nothing to do with Coco Chanel. Ron and I set off to walk around the lake but were caught by  a very heavy shower and so beat a retreat to the Trapper's Rest where we sheltered and dried off with expresso coffees. Excellent meal this evening where we were joined by our three Dutch friends from the camping site, which is where we first got to know them, and by Ian and company who came across on the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry earlier today. They too are camping and we don't envy them that on what is turning out to be another chilly wet night.
