Farewell to the Elder Tree

Deep Roots arrived today and took down the elder tree, and we both miss it already, as do the birds and the squirrels!  Tony has spent several hours since digging out the stump.  It is interwoven with the wall and wrapped around rocks so the chain saw could not be used on it.
