The sun was blinding
so photos were 'iffy' and
I just trusted luck

I left the house before 5:30 with intentions to find an eagle on Mission Flats. I motored over the bridge, made the turn onto Mission Flats Road and drove on to the end of the road.

I got a panorama of the end of the river looking west. I found an osprey on the nest using my telephoto and shaky hands. The wild flowers looked lovely in the morning sun. 

No eagles were to be found today. I took a shot across the river to the airport tower. I looked up the river towards the city. My final shot was looking across the river and Rabbit Island to my mountains. 

I made a stop for groceries on the way home. My cranky feet have already reached their limit for the day. I'm home with my feet up.
