Begonias
Frank loves these flowers, they’re his favourite and they withstand whatever the weather throws at them.
This morning I slept in! I was awake at 4am, checked my phone for messages then went back to sleep - it was 8.45 when I woke up.
Sue our choir director came round to see me after breakfast. It was so good to see her, we had a hug and I filled her in with the latest on Frank.
I had planned to go by bus to visit Frank but by the time I had breakfast and took Bella for a walk it was too late as the bus connections wouldn’t have worked. I asked Bob if he would take me which he did. It was nice because he came in to visit Frank too and they had a good old chinwag.
Bob is full of tales to tell. He took me to Aldi on the way back.
Frank was in good form and pain free - as the morphine patch lasts for a week - and looking forward to something to eat after a scan he was having at 4 pm.
We speak openly about his illness and make plans for when he comes home. He wants to play his guitar and piano and have a beer and a mild curry.
Sarah next door came round and took Bella walkies.
In other news, Marc found a wee mouse with a wonky leg and put it in his pocket when he went to Morrison’s. He has it in a box and is feeding it with all kinds of goodies. (extra) He’s a kind hearted man.
I started watching a film on Netflix, it was good but I fell asleep.
I’m going to try and read my book in bed, I haven’t been able to read since Frank became ill, my mind just wanders.
Goodnight and thank you everyone for the lovely comments, stars and hearts and all the kindness.
:-) X
