Forfar, Montrose, Stonehaven, Aberdeen.

We left Perth this morning to drive to Aberdeen via Forfar, Montrose and Stonehaven.

We wanted to stop at Forfar to buy some of the famous Forfar Bridies. ( They look a bit like a Cornish Pasty, but are a Scottish version, named after the town of Forfar).

On to Montrose for lunch, then Stonehaven to see Dunnottar Castle. ( There is also an open air Lido, heated to 29C, but we didn’t partake….)

We arrived in Aberdeen late in the afternoon.
