Footdee.

Or Fittie as the locals call it.

We had a more leisurely day today than the previous few days. We went to Footdee - a traditional community, built for the workers in the fishing industry. It was a lovely wee place; ramshackle sheds alongside brightly coloured outhouses and rows of terraced houses that all face inwards.

The Fisherman’s Mission sits in the middle of the houses, with few windows (you were probably not encouraged to be looking out when you should be focused on the minister). See first extra.

We then had a walk along the seafront- quite a few people surfing and some folk having a sauna ( see extra).
