Departing Stornaway

A phone call from step-brother this morning at 0530. Our father has passed away at the nursing home in Whitstable. Peacefully, thankfully.

He was nearly 91 and we had had fun celebrating his 90th last summer. It was expected but still distressing when it happens. I have spent today very quietly remembering.

We are now in Ullapool staying at the Ceileidh Place -
