Uig Sands

After lunch, we drove over to Uig Sands.  The weather improved as the journey progressed.  We stopped en-route for coffee and found a local community centre selling refreshments with an honesty box for payment.  

A walk on the beach at Big while the tide was out - lovely golden sand.  A local restaurant had been recommended for dinner and it was wonderful with a lovely view out over the sands.  This blip was taken with the restaurant on my left.

Drive home was much quicker as there was so little traffic.  

Today marks the anniversary of Dad's passing last year.  My step-brothers and I exchanged texts which was nice.  A nostalgic day.
