Upset

I wonder what  the residents of Ramsay Garden think as they hear the noise of the  scaffolding for the Tattoo seating being erected on the Castle esplanade behind them. Perhaps they all have triple glazed windows or maybe a reduction in Council Tax as a reward for living there with all the noise and fireworks that will envelop them for the next 3months, not to mention the dismantling of everything afterwards.

There are already metal barricades piled up in George Square, ready I imagine to turn the lovely quiet gardens into the Fringe Underbelly playground. I walked through the gardens this afternoon and they were serene and calm. They are still open to the public, but not for much longer when work on the erection of the tented area begins.

It’s been another sunless chilly day but the only drops of rain occurred as I set foot out of the house after lunch. There is little incentive to walk anywhere when the weather is so unappealing and so much more incentive to stay put indoors. I am becoming a cabbage.
