‘Twas on a Monday Morning…….

It was certainly a new and novel way to spend a Monday morning when the 3 Merry Widows rocked up at the Dome in George Street at 11am precisely for a celebratory brunch. One of our number had recently had a birthday deserving of a reward for longevity and another member had accrued vouchers for a generous offer on the shekel front. No one could argue against that and we went for it- one Scottish breakfast and two vegetarian ones. Delicious and in the company of ‘Swifties’ at a nearby table, who were making it a memorable au revoir to Edinburgh.
Surprisingly, although unseasonably chilly, the sun shone today save for a little splash down at 2pm, but by that time we oldies were home, replete, with no plans for ever eating again……… well until tomorrow anyway.
