Concrete canvas
D-Day celebrating their bravery 80years ago. We will remember them.
Had a dip and headed off to Counselling. Not so many tears but, a lot of soul searching. I went straight to Writtle after, to glaze my clay mushrooms I'd made a few weeks ago. It was therapeutic and pleasing, choosing colouring and texture, then painting it on. Interesting to see how they will come out.
I'll be helping out at the T20 game again this Friday and for a few more after, so I needed to fill out pay forms and collect my security badge. We've been given Essex t-shirts so we all look consistant. FK, Ali and Bill will also be working.
I slept for a couple of hours, as had a headache, as well as counselling burn out.
I walked to Mavens WI with Alison for a speaker talking about the project and art festival that provides all the murals around town and the meanings behind them. https://artuk.org/discover/stories/concrete-canvas-how-is-chelmsfords-street-art-festival-put-together
A lot of new ones have appeared this May and it was great to hear the background stories.
"He has torn the veil, and lifted from me, the sad heaviness of mourning. He wrapped me in the glory garlands of gladness"
