The colour purple

Morning walk with the spaniel over Bucknell Hill and Hopton Hill. I haven't been this way for a few weeks and was taken aback when we came around the northern slopes to see a mass of foxgloves where the Forestry Commission had clear felled trees. The area must have been at least five acres, quite astonishing. My blip shows just a fragment of the slope.
