A wind - but no sails
Another mixed day weathewise. Surprisingly chilly, with a cool wind blowing, but I got myself out into the garden to clean up leaves and sweep up the mess that the road guys made last week outside the garage. I even sat out with a book for a while - rather too windy though.
I walked down town after lunch to pick up train tickets from the station - I'm spending a week with my sister in London next month. Yesterday's ultra modern cruise ship had gone, but instead a beautiful sailing ship, Blue Clipper, was berthed at the North Pier. A three-masted gaff-rigged schooner, according to her website, built in Sweden in 1991. Leaving on Thursday on another cruise - I must try to be around when she leaves!
