start

This is how I like to start my day, if I'm not working. Coffee outside on the bench with D. It's a nice little ritual to make the coffee in the same way every morning and to drink it in my favourite mug, which I bought when Chris and I visited Standen Pottery last year. D and I watch the birds then do the Wordle. 

Tomorrow after work I'm heading Down South so I shall miss this. I am looking forward to seeing my family but I really don't like leaving home at this time of the year (or, increasingly, at any time of the year).

Still, my favourite mug will still be here when I return :-)
