Behold..the sun?

.. My first sunrise of cottage season! Not the best; I never actually saw the sun, but at least the sky lightened up for a moment or two and then the clouds took over again...for the rest of the day..

The cold weather here was quite a shock, and it got even colder today. Add a little rain and it wasn't a day for lounging on the dock!  And oh yes..at less than 8 degrees, not great for taking a shower either..our shower is outdoors! Brrrr....

Good thing we have TV and internet here, as I stayed indoors almost all day. I watched two movies in one evening, whilst snuggled under a quilt. - The Beautiful Game with Bill Nighy and The Miracles with Maggie Smith...( I was in need of being uplifted!)

Tomorrow, methinks I will give in and light the fire...
