Heading home

Much nicer day today with plenty of sunshine. It was actually too hot at times and I could feel the sun burning my arm.
We left Mike’s Mums at just gone 9. We went the Gatwick way round the M25 to avoid the bridge and any hold ups there. Traffic was not too bad for a Sunday but with road closures it took longer than usual. Got to my Mums at just gone 11.20.
Paul came up and we had sandwich’s. Kevin, Sharon and Millie came up in the afternoon. They did not bring the dogs as it was too hot for them.
It was lovely sitting in the garden catching up on their news. Millie had just been on a short Cruise on a ship with 6000 passengers !
After they left Paul went down to get Chinese for dinner. Very tasty and we were full afterwards.
