The Plested’s

A busy day with lots of visitors. A sunnier day but still too cold and windy to sit outside. Steve came very early to cut Mike’s Mums hedge. He did a good job and it looks very neat.
Dan, Jess and Henry arrived mid morning followed by Colin and Debbie. Henry has grown a lot. He’s now 4 , starting school in September and a bundle of energy, he does not stop and is on the go the whole time. Jess is keeping well and getting big with a big bump at the front. The baby is due in August but she has a caesarean booked for the end of July as she had problems delivering Henry.
Everyone left and we had a quick lunch before James, Laura and Arthur arrived. Daniel etc came back as the cousins have not met before. Cute to see them together as both were shy to start with. They played well together.
We had to leave as soon as they left as we were taking Mum out for dinner. We all met up at The Cricketers in Sarrat. Mike’s Mum is not a good passenger. I think her eye sight makes things seem closer so she kept saying watch out every few seconds. Mike managed to keep his cool.
Saw the Real Madrid football team go past in their coaches followed by a lot of police on bikes.
Had a lovely meal . A really tasty Lamb and mint pie with mash for me
