Toast

I was up early to catch the train for a meeting down in London, but very quickly the day went off the rails.

Due to meet my Wigan-based boss at Euston, he’d texted from further down the line to advise that a body had been found near the line between London and Watford, which had stopped all the trains.

Against that backdrop, it certainly puts running late into perspective, so we abandoned plans and I met him at Wigan for a brew and a catch up. Fruit toast also featured, which was absolutely delicious!

It did throw the rest of the day out somewhat as my head wasn’t really in the game and I ended up being trapped in Wigan a lot longer than I wanted. It did at least give me the opportunity to get some birthday shopping completed for The Youngest.
