Fours and Firemen
 
Manic Monday returned with a vengeance.
 
M’boy needed to be at the cricket club for a match starting at 6pm and The Youngest needed to be at the Fire Station on the other side of town for 7pm for a cubs visit. Both needed collecting around the same time.
 
I’m not entirely sure how, but it all worked out and I saw my son hit 18 off two overs including three fours. Unfortunately the team went on to lose the match by about 25 runs, but it was fun to watch.
 
The Youngest enjoyed her trip to the fire station and was pleased to get her photo taken with Fireman Sam (really) and the class mascot; Paddington, who she got to take home before half term as she was the star of the week!
