Lining Up

A very early start to the day for a trip down to Wembley for the Challenge cup final . The plan was to get to London for around 11.00 to avoid the congestion charge but one thing lead to another with delays meant we didn't get parked up until after 12.00 so I will have to go online and make a payment.

My main photo is the teams lining up prior to Kick off , I have included a couple of extras a very moving tribute to Rob Burrow who sadly lost his battle with MND and then another extra from after the match showing Wigan celebrating a fine win.
We went 2 nil down early on from a penalty but Wigan battled hard and went in at half time 12 - 2 up a bit of a sloppy start again in the 2nd half but thankfully we scored again to make it 18 - 2  before late on Warrington scored again to make it 18 - 8 with Wigan then hanging on to win. We have made History by becoming the 1st team to hold all 4 major trophies at the same time League Leaders , Grand final , world club champions and now Challenge cup winners for the 21st time another record .
We decided not to stay and watch the other lower league final  and battle the traffic home , a good job we did as we finally got home at 10.15 pm if we had hung around it would have been gone midnight .
Chilling now and will catch up on comments tomorrow with a relaxing day planned and a few beers tomorrow night to celebrate as I still have 2 days holiday to enjoy
