Thankfully not the right-wing American so-called news channel but news about an actual fox.
A fox has returned to our garden almost a year to the day since our last encounter with a vulpine visitor. We know it is unlikely to be the same individual but as I divulged in last year's corresponding blip we always moniker each animal Foxy Bingo (at my count this is probably Foxy Bingo III).
As per last year our back garden has returned to its 'wild savannah' status. I kid myself that this is due to No Mow May but not only I have I failed to replace our lawn mower that I 'blew up' last year (there was literally smoke coming out of it!) but I have now been an active participant (o.k, only participant) in the demise of our strimmer. However, the fox seems to be quite content in this unkempt environment, especially with a varied smorgasbord of snacks including ham, grapes and cheese being supplied at regular intervals, so it is very much a happy by-product of my gardening implement based euthanasia! :-)
